CAL POLY: SMURFS AND DUI.

4 shows…3200 people…it was awesome!

Cal Poly Students! from Dan Levy on Vimeo. The only bad part: during shameful trivia in the 2nd show, a female student said INTO THE MICROPHONE that she did not know what a “smurf” is. Blog readers…she said that out loud in front of like 800 people! As a rather big smurf fan, a part of me died in that moment and so did her popularity during orientation. She quickly went from -hot girl -with nice boobs, to retarded -no smurf knowledge girl- with nice boobs. Random student: Hey what’s up. Female Student: Nothing- Random Student: Wait…are you the girl who didn’t know what a smurf was? Female Student: (giggling) Yeah. Random Student: Fuck you! (Touches boobs and exits)

OVERLY EXCITED CAL POLY STUDENT! from Dan Levy on Vimeo. Reggie Watts joined the tour for these shows and both his hair and himself were incredible. (He also introduced all the comics to vegan friendly dried cashew candy). It’s like chewing sweet matzah that also rips out any fillings in your teeth. Perfect! But the real ACTION came after the show and not during the after party in the hotel lobby of the best western. The action happened on the 101 south as Nikki Glaser and I raced back to Hollywood so I could pack and catch a 5am flight to NYC. After a 3 hours drive and as we were literally exiting into Hollywood I got pulled over by the state police for drunk driving. But I wasn’t drunk. AT ALL! I’m just a really terrible driver who may have also been driving while dancing to the new Kanye West album, texting, and asking Nikki “how funny I am like for real for real…” Although its funny now, at the time when the cop was giving me the “follow his thumb” drunk test I was really scared. Luckily we filmed it and I did not end up in Jail.
